Nathan Dal Bon

Nathan has around 30 years of policy advising and delivery experience across the Commonwealth Government.  Nathan has a passion for improving housing outcomes and has extensive housing related experience, including the past six years as the CEO of Housing Australia and its predecessor NHFIC. This includes leading the design and implementation of the Bond Aggregator to support the Community Housing sector, the Home Guarantee Scheme to support eligible homebuyers and most recently the Housing Australia Future Fund. Nathan also oversaw a research program that saw the publication of key housing-related papers, including the inaugural State of the Nation Housing Report. Nathan has just recently been announced as the new CEO for Community Housing Canberra.

Nathan has a solid understanding of the political dynamic having worked as a senior economic adviser to former shadow Treasurer’s.  He also has international experience having represented Australia at the UN Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing and he has been posted to the Indonesian Ministry of Finance for three years.

Nathan has a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Newcastle and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.
