Hal Pawson is Professor of Housing Research and Policy at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and Associate Director of the UNSW City Futures Research Centre. He also retains a Visiting Professor position at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh where he was based from 1995-2011. Hal’s research interests include homelessness, social housing, private rental markets and urban renewal. His latest co-authored books include ‘Housing Policy in Australia: A case for system reform’ (2020).
